I am in LOVE with this sew-together gear bag! It’s useful for so many things – I’ve used it for all of my sewing gear and kit and is just perfect for going out and about to sewing groups, a workshop or just for any kind of transportation. It could also be used for cosmetics, travelling or for holding jewellery. The gear bag is designed by Sally Thompson and I have included the pattern link below, but I’ve put it together with some gorgeous Liberty fabrics and think the result is just fab! One of the great features of the gear bag is that it folds out to keep all of your things in place while you work on your sewing project – there is a really handy place to put pins and lots of compartments to keep all your bits neat and tidy. This gear bag was made for Alice Caroline by Lynne Walters – thanks Lynne it looks great! I absolutely adore this super cute vintage dress made with one of my favourite fabrics from the Alice in Wonderland spring / summer Liberty collection. “Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I’m not the same, the next question is, who in the world am I? Ah, that’s the great puzzle!” A fantastic quote from the Adventures of Alice in Wonderland – the fabric featured in this dress has been inspired by this quote and by the wonderful characters from the novel. You can see characters like The Mat Hatter, The Queen of Hearts and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in the quirky fun fabric. Pattern: This dress was made using a vintage pattern, for a similar pattern use Simplicity 6095 Fabric: Gallymoggers Reynard is available in three different colourways – view and buy them here The dress is finished with some lovely vintage buttons. Thank you so much to Catherine Armitage from www.lulumama.co.uk for making it for us.
